buildingSMART UK&I Assemble!
To support the information management processes in ISO 19650 we’re starting become more focused on purpose and how information needs to be defined, broken-down and structured to deliver this. With the talk of connected environments we need consistency more than ever to exchange information across the ever growing list of uses and tools and more systematic ways of managing process on projects. This is what the openBIM standards and methods provide.
To help drive better understanding and have a better representation at international level we would like to assemble a group of individuals who all share a common understanding and shared passion for openBIM to help reignite the UK&I chapter.
This is a blank sheet of paper with the intention that together we can develop a roadmap for the chapter. There are some important challenges which as a group we need to address but first on the list we need ideas on how we can educate people in industry to give them a basic understanding of what openBIM is, why we need it and how the principles are used at the coalface.
Please get in touch if you would like to be part of the group – email us at email@example.com
